All foreign visitors to Malaysia must apply for a valid travel authorization in order to enter the country. Eligible applicants can fill out an online eVISA application to visit Malaysia. Applicants will need to complete a simple online eVISA application in order to receive an approved eVISA for Malaysia.
Apply for eVisaThe Malaysian eVISA was established by the Immigration Department of Malaysia in January 2016. The eVISA for Malaysia authorizes the citizens of eligible countries with passports valid for at least six (6) months to apply for an eVISA online. Once issued, the Malaysian eVISA is valid for stays of up to thirty (30) days.
Citizens of the countries listed below are eligible for an eVISA for Malaysia.
The Malaysian eVISA is an electronically issued Single Entry Visa (SEV) which authorizes stays of up to thirty (30) consecutive days. An approved eVISA is valid to enter Malaysia for three (3) months following the date of issue. The applicant’s passport must be valid for at least six (6) months at the moment of application.
